First Time Gardeners!

So about a week ago, we started the transformation of the back area of our yard (AT LAST!). All it had been good for was collecting weeds, and we were getting pretty tired of looking at it! My mom and dad came over to help us build these raised beds & get the right mix of soil for our new square foot gardens. We're pretty excited about it. Since this picture was taken, we've planted tomatos, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, oregano, sage, basil, chives, and romaine lettuce. We're eager to see what works out (hopefully it all!). We plan to put pavers down between the beds soon. Stay tuned!
