Our anniversary-October 11th
Mike also took me to Portland, Oregon in late October to have some much needed time away. We are both turning 30 this year. Oh...yeah...forgot to mention THAT part. I turned the BIG 3-0 in early November. It wasn't sooo bad. (Really...it wasn't bad at all :) And actually, I've had a great beginning to the new decade. Mike was unfortunately out of town on my birthday (hence one of the reasons we went to Oregon), so I spent a lot of time with family and friends. I was able to celebrate for about a whole week long since I celebrated with Mike once he returned. It was fun. Colin and Aidan even decorated balloons around the house. They are too funny!
Anyway...Oregon was one of the best trips we have ever been on. We did so much in 5 days ---from bumming around Portland to seeing the breathtaking coast to winetasting in the Willamette Valley. This trip far expected any and all expectations that we had. We can't wait to go back. I'm going to make a coffee table photobook since we have so many amazing photos.

Oregon is known for their Pinot Noirs.
