Michael had Monday off this week for Marin Luther King Day. We thought we would take a drive into Illinois. You have to take a couple car ferries to get there (which the boys were excited about), but they were closed because of the ice in the river. We knew another place where we could look for eagles so we drove that route instead.
Missouri side near Alton, IL--- See those dots perched up on the middle two trees?? Those are eagles. There were 3 of them hanging out.

Two of the eagles took off flying and then, came back
Wishing I had a telephoto lens!! There is a beautiful eagle.
