What was so nice to see was Aidan having his own special day. Being a twin, he has to share a birthday, room, school level, etc. Don't get me wrong, being a twin is a special thing in and of itself and a bond like no other. But it was a nice little change to see it all about one of the boys. At our house, we try to take note of the twins having individual time with mom and dad...out to a store, playtime, or park..etc. But on this particular day, it was all about Aidan. And he was gloating! He kept flashing us his toothless grin. ;) And he kept talking about the toothfairy coming. Colin was a good sport...congratulating brother and all!
On the morning after the toothfairy arrived, Aidan wouldn't put down his new toothbrush and couple dollar bills. Colin had a little hard time understanding why he didn't get that stuff too, but after a while got over it. We kept telling him that when he looses his tooth, it will be Colin's special day.
It was fun, nonetheless & a great individual milestone for Aidan. Colin, I'm sure, will be right around the corner!

Putting the tooth under the pillow! (see the plastic bag)
