On March 30th, 2013, we lost a great man, Michael's grandfather. Over the last few weeks, we have been retelling some of our favorite memories with Grandpa. One of my fondest memories is going to the old house, sitting on the porch swing, and talking the night away with Granny/Grandpa when we were just dating and engaged. We also have always loved spontaneously calling over and then stopping by for the "deli". The kids have enjoyed many Easter egg hunts, birthday parties, Christmas days, and BBQs with him. We will always remember that Grandpa had the coldest beer in town in his fridge at the old house. And Michael has soooo many more memories, but I know that one of his most favorite was golfing with him when he was younger & learning from him. Of course, he'll never forget getting grounded by Grandpa as a teenager for coming home way past curfew when his parents were out of town. ;)
We love you, miss you, and are praying for you, Grandpa. And we will continue to raise a cold one to you! Rest in peace, Grandpa/Great-Grandpa!
