In between Christmas and New Year's, we went to Paris for 4 days. It was fun to do some things that we had never done there and to see Paris at Christmas time.
Paris' Ferris Wheel
So, Colin really wanted to go on this gianormous ferris wheel that was located at the end of the Champs Elysees and before the Louvre. I realized while up high in the air why I will no longer go on these. This smile you see here was fake (either that or we weren't up very high yet)! I was honestly not enjoying myself on this ferris wheel at all. It wasn't so much the height of it, but more that the wind and its' howl were so strong and were rocking our glass enclosure all about. It scared me, to say the least, but my boy was happy! Guess that is all that matters!
Happy Colin!
Views were nice though
Champs Elysees
Festive Streets in St. Germain
It says, "It is Jesus. The Light of the world."
Fun at Luxembourg Gardens
Our trips to Paris always seem to include a stop or 2 at Luxembourg Gardens' playground. It's so cool there, and the boys love it!
Fun zipline ride!
Festive Notre Dame
One of my favorite shots that we have of Notre Dame. Amazing that this beautiful structure celebrated 850 years in 2013!
Gorgeous Paris at dusk
Ice Skating at Hotel de Ville
It was Colin & Aidan's first time ice skating ever, and they did great! In the spring, they saved up their money and bought themselves rollar blades. I definitely think all the practice on the rollar blades helped. We had a blast!
