Celebrating Christmas

On 23rd of December (Christmas Eve Eve), we hosted a Christmas dinner with some friends of ours.  We had a lovely night together and a great meal cooked by all.

This was the first time we had ever cooked a leg of lamb (pictured above).  We cut slits and poked garlic in the lamb and then coated it with an herb rub.  We also prepared a mustard crème sauce.  It was delicious!
