July~Uzès & Nimes, Fr

After our visit to the Pont du Gard, we stopped by this quaint city of Uzès and just wandered around.

Cool street

love the shutters

It was hot this day...around 100F

Not too bad of working hours if you are the owner!

Love the French décor!

Later that night, we had dinner in Nîmes, the nearest city to our B&B.  Nimes was originally established by the Romans, and there are several structures still around from that time.

the Maison Carrée,  the best preserved Roman temple

the Arena of Nîmes~ 2000 years old
(a concert was happening in the arena on the night of our visit to Nîmes)
