Bottle Shock. It's a true story of how California's wines (particularly their cabs and chardonnays) became known the world over. Essentially, this British wine merchant living in France hears about California wines and scoffs at the notion that they could even compete with the traditional French super power wines. So, he takes a trip there and finds that he was totally wrong. While it's just a bunch of "hicks and farmers" growing the wine, they are doing so incredibly well. What ends up happening is he has a blind tasting contest between French and California wines he chooses. The judges are the best known wine critics and restauranteers in France. I won't spoil the ending, but it's really good. The one requirement is you must have a good bottle on hand while watching, otherwise it will just be an exercise in torture ;)
