So, the most amazing thing happened to us as we were walking to the stadium. Both boys were expressing their excitement for going to the game. At one moment, Colin was being extremely cute...laughing, giggling, jumping around & saying, "I'm just SO excited!!" As he said this, a gentleman walked by saying, "That is so cute." Mike was walking with Colin and just happened to mention that it was their 1st baseball game. The man commented, and then ran up to his buddies who were up ahead. He came back to us and asked us if we would like to be upgraded. I was like, "Really! Are you sure?!?" So, he gave us 4 upgraded tickets in the 200 section. We were stoked. We had been excited about JUST going to the game with the boys sitting in the nosebleeds (450 section)....and now our night was made even better. We graciously thanked the man...over and over.
As we approached the stadium, we walked up the ramp to level 2. When we got to our level, there were workers who wanted to see our tickets. So we gladly showed them. Then, they put wristbands on the 4 of us. We started thinking...what is this? Where are we headed!!?? (YAY!!!). Then, we realized that the generous man gave us tickets to his party box. WOW!!!
Once we got into the box, Mike talked more with the man. He and some of his coworkers were from out-of-town and their company had bought 2 boxes side-by-side. A lot of people at the last minute couldn't go. So we were in a luxury box with about 10 people (spread over 2 boxes) with free drinks and snacks. Mike talked to Trevor thanking him more, & the boys kept "high-fiving" him.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame....
On Tuesday night, Colin and Aidan took US to the baseball game. For participating in our local library's summer reading club, they won tickets. Nice job, boys! We're so proud of you!
This game was Colin and Aidan's 1st baseball game ever!
Colin and Aidan were SOOOO excited all day! They couldn't wait to get their Cardinal gear on!
