Mike had Monday off work for Columbus Day, but the kids had school. So, we took advantage of that and had a day out to celebrate our upcoming anniversary. Why not celebrate our anniversary for the entire week (the way I like to celebrate birthdays!) ;)
We walked down the meadering city streets, popped in for a cappuchino, visited the Cathedral of Our Lady of Tournai (also known as Notre Dame Cathedral in Tournai), and had a wonderful lunch at the quaint restaurant, Tatie Danielle. It was a relaxing few hours!

The Cathedral of Our Lady of Tournai
(We went inside, but it was being renovated, so it was hard to see a lot. Scaffolding everywhere) |

| Belfry...CLOSED on Mondays...bummer! (a reason to come back though!) |

| Loved this quaint little restaurant... Mike had a vegetable couscous meal. |

| Tomato-Banana Soup pictured...yes, banana in it and delicious! I also had a jambon and gouda sandwich...yum! |
