Santa Maria del Mar placa...our favorite!
From our table
Sangria---not too sweet or too dry...just perfect!
Often when you are eating in the placas, street entertainers will perform (could be a flamenco dancer, guitar player, fire thrower, etc.). Once they perform, they usually come around to your table collecting an offering of change if you are so inclined. Most of the time, they are very entertaining and deserving of coins. We got to the point where we would just put some coins on our table knowing that they would come. :)
Looking back at Santa Maria del Mar placa
The beautiful, Barcelona Cathedral, where we decided we would spend Sunday mass the next morning.
Dinner at the San Miguel placa
Dinner at 10-10:30pm
We ordered calamari which the boys both seemed to like and enjoyed dinners of paella for Mike and I. (we shared a seafood and a vegetarian)
Vegetarian Paella...delicious!
Colin being silly!
This was a big day for us filled with lots of fun activities. We probably got home around 1am, but that is life in Espana. And we enjoyed sleeping late to make up for it!
