Day 8: On our last day, we took the metro out to see Parc Guell and the Sagrada Familia, both designed by Antoni Gaudi. Parc Guell is a beautiful garden complex.

This church has been under construction since 1882 . Gaudi died in 1926. The plan is to complete it by the 100 yr anniversary of his death in 2026.
I wonder what is under new construction and what is being renovated. A church of this magnitude and age probably needs constant care for repairs in addition to final completion.
