Lyon is the 3rd largest city in France, and it is known as the gastronomic capital of the country. Our favorite things in Lyon were walking along the river and eating. One night, we had an excellent steak with a savory pumpkin puree side and veggies.
On our way to our next destination, we stopped in Perouges, France. It is a very small hilltop village that reminded me a lot of Montepulciano, Italy. Check out these homes and buildings from the 14th & 15th centuries:
