Funny story: I spotted this turtle from distance so we paddled over to see if it was, in fact, a turtle. When we got close, we couldn't tell if it was fake or real. We thought maybe the boathouse just put a fake one on this rock. I mean, I'm impressed that a turtle can swim over to this rock and climb up it! Anyway, Mike started splashing at it, and nothing happened. Then, we thought we saw it's eyes blink, but he splashed it a couple more times. All of a sudden, the turtle stretched out it's legs as though it was freaked out....Eeeek!...and fell into the water. Okay...I guess it WAS real. Poor little turtle was having a good time sunbathing and look at what my husband did!
