May: Czech Republic~ Part 4

We were so fortunate to have blue skies and sunshine on our days in Prague.   We climbed one of the towers on the Charles Bridge and were rewarded with some beautiful sights at the top!

Stunning Prague!

Happy Travelers!

Prague is known as "the city of a hundred spires."

As we were walking around a park, we saw a memorial to the victims of Communism:

Notice: the first statue is whole and as it goes up the stairs, it breaks apart more & more.

We visited the Church of Our Lady Victorious to see the Infant Jesus of Prague.

After lunch, Aidan wasn't feeling well, so we went back to the hotel.  Mike & Colin continued on and enjoyed a paddle boat ride on the Vltava River.

On our last evening in Prague, we bought tickets to a string quartet concert at one of the churches in Prague.  It was about an hour long and lovely to enjoy the music of the great composers.

ah...a bit blurry!

And we had a great dinner outside to finish up our trip in Prague!

'Happy Prague'

We truly loved Prague.  If you get the chance, GO!
