BRUSSELS....fun in the sun!

Hanging out with one of the mayors of Brussels in the Grote Market...Charles Buls from 1881

The beautiful Royal Galleries of Saint-Hubert

Our favorite macaron shop where we stop during every visit...Pierre Marcolini

Yay for Macarons!!!

James' 1st macaron....he approved!

A visit to Brussels isn't complete without seeing TinTin & Snowy.

Town Hall at the Grand Place

Museum in the Grand Place

Viewing the beautiful Belgian tapestries

And we took a horse drawn carriage ride...so fun!

Inside the church of St. Nicholas...stopped here while the horsey had a break

Great way to see Brussels!

Love these buildings

Later, we went to the Royal Palace and took a tour of a few rooms on display.  This can only be done in the month of August while the family is away.

Stunning!

Love this shot of Brussels

The Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula
