One day, Mike & James drove to the Flanders region to visit the WW1 museum, Field of Flanders. They were also able to visit some cemeteries of the soldiers who fought during this time as well as a trench.
Yorkshire Trench
WWI Commonwealth trench & dugout
James is standing in the Yorkshire trench where the Commonwealth side hid from & fought the Germans.
Here is a great video that takes you on a tour of the trench and describes these paths.
Entrance to one of the dugouts.....completely filled with water at the time.
Commonwealth Cemetery
Many tombs of unknown Commonwealth soldiers
May God bless them all.
Field of Flanders Museum
The Field of Flanders Museum is in what used to be the town's cloth market. It was where townspeople would trade cloths, and it was the source of the Ypres' wealth.

Climbing up, up, up...to the top to see views of Ypres/Ieper.
Another great day for visiting the city of Ypres/Ieper.
Ypres/Ieper was completely leveled in WW1 & rebuilt beautifully. It's a very classy city.
