September: Port of Honfleur, France

Honfleur is a lovely town.  Le Vieux Bassin is lined with old, colorful row buildings and elegant boats.   It is incredibly charming to wander around its windy, quaint streets.  They are filled with boutiques, art galleries, specialty gift shops, patisseries, and restaurants.   It's a place worth seeing if you are in the area!

Fun times with the Mama

Gorgeous macarons!!

And other delectable desserts!

St. Catherine's Church....built by shipbuilders in the mid 1500s.   It was constructed after the Hundred Years War.   Stone & masons were in high demand and in short supply, so the builders built the church like they knew how.    The ceiling & structure resemble the belly of a boat if turned upside down.
