Off to school...

Today, we took the boys to their 1st day of school.  They are attending the school at the base.  It's an International School, and they are in the American sector.  There are many other schools, German, Belgian, Italian, etc.  And there are many international students attending the Amercian school.  There are 600 students in the K-6 grades at the American School with students from 24 different countries.  The boys are in separate classrooms.  We wanted to separate them, and they were all for it.  There are 2 other kids at Aidan's table:  one is a boy from Turkey and the other is a girl from Spain.  The teacher had a projection of "Welcome" written in several different languages on her smart board.   Colin's classroom has a couple pets which he is going to love.  I saw one guinea pig, but not sure what else is in the room.   We were allowed to stay for one hour while the kids unpacked their supplies and started on an "All about me" page.  I am so excited to hear all about their day.  Pics to come!!

Internet and home phone will be turned on tomorrow at our house.  YAY!
