"Vegetable time," you ask???? Well according to Colin that is correct, except not exactly as you are thinking. On Sunday, we went to a "Festival" (aka "Vegetable" to C-man...so cute how he said it too! and kept saying it!). We met our friends, Jon, Angelyn, Isaac and Maria for some ethnic tastings at the Fesitival of the Nations. There was so much food to choose from that it was difficult deciding what to have. Mike and I finally chose falafel, grape leaf wrap and veggies from the Israeli booth and a tomato & veggie couscous and baklava from the Turkish booth. Ummmm um!! We finished it all off with some flan. Although the boys didn't try the different foods (most were spicy), we are hopeful that they will have open minds as they grow up. And we will definitely be exposing them to all the delicious tastes out there. We had a great time catching up with our friends.
